Executive director of the Pride Center in WiltonManors, Paul Hyman, is leaving the center to take the director’s job at Stonewall Community Foundation in New York City.

Robert Boo will succeed Hyman at the Pride Center.  Hyman issued the following statement:

Effective March 9th I’ll be stepping down as ED of The Pride Center, after seven years.  In late March I’ll begin as ED at Stonewall Community Foundation in New York City!  The Center’s Board and staff are strong and a seamless transition will be led by Robert Boo, who will become The Pride Center’s new Executive Director!  After serving as the Center’s highly effective and recognized Director of Development for five years, Robert has since served on the Center’s Board of Directors.  He will begin as ED in early March to allow for he and I to work together to ensure continuity.

My partner Bill will remain in Fort Lauderdale for a period of time to allow for a careful transition.  We will commute on weekends and are excited about our new adventures!

I am deeply grateful for your support over the years and hope to remain in contact.  I wish you the best that life has to offer!
